Privacy Notice

1. Data controller

He is the controller of your personal data under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its regulations.

2. Data we collect

  • Identity and contact: name, company, email, phone and the state where you work.
  • Tax: RFC, legal name, tax postal code and tax regime.
  • Service usage: issued credentials, connection dates and times, station used, and the approximate position your receiver sends to the caster to pick the station.
  • Payment: processed by Stripe. GEONET does not receive or store card numbers.

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

3. Purposes

Purposes necessary for the service: creating your account and free trial, issuing and managing credentials, charging, renewing and cancelling licenses, issuing invoices, support, preventing fraud and abuse (for example, one free trial per person) and meeting tax obligations.

Additional purposes, not necessary for the service: sending promotions, new-coverage announcements and surveys. You can opt out from the start or at any time by writing to privacidad@geonet.com.mx. Opting out does not affect your service.

4. Who we share them with

With providers that process them on our behalf and only to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Railway (site hosting) and our cloud servers; some are outside Mexico. With the authorized invoicing provider (PAC) to issue your invoices. With partner networks, only what is needed to authenticate you when you connect to one of their stations. With authorities when required by law. We do not sell or rent your data.

5. Your rights and withdrawal of consent

You can access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your data, limit its use or withdraw consent by writing to privacidad@geonet.com.mx or contacto@geonet.com.mx. Include your name, the email you registered with, the right you want to exercise and a description of your request. We reply within 20 business days and, if applicable, act within the following 15 business days. Some data must be kept even if you ask, such as tax records.

6. Retention

We keep your data while you have an active account or license and afterwards for the periods required by tax and commercial law. After that we delete it.

Messages you send to the virtual assistant are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic. We keep them for 30 days to follow up and improve support. Do not include passwords or sensitive data in those messages.

7. Cookies

The site only uses essential technical cookies: your session, protection against forged form submissions, and your language. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

8. Changes to this notice

Any change is published on this page with its date. If it affects how we use your data, we email you.
